Sarah Meyer
Victoria Instructor, Studio SupportSarah is a yoga teacher, a mother, and a water lover. She wants to encourage a world where people can love their bodies for what they are: strong, beautiful, and created beings. Sarah began a committed yoga practice in 2008 after sailing around the Pacific Ocean in the confined space of a tall ship. This experience was life changing and left her wanting for more movement in her life than a boat length of deck space would allow. Ever since, she has been enchanted with this practice of yoga that offers the ability to shift our state of being by simply shifting the shape of our bodies. This has led her to a deep love of mindful movement, and opened up opportunities to offer these practices back to others. Sarah's classes will straddle the line of challenge, striking a balance between both a doable and difficult practice experience. Expect clear and concise cuing that will lead you to find success in postures you didn't think possible. She strives to empower her students to find their own reasons for continuing their journey. She desires to bring a little more Grace into the world by paying attention and seeing the people in front of her; meeting them where they are and loving them for who they are. Sarah completed her first teacher training in 2012 and has since trained with Darren Rhodes, Christina Sell, Esak Garcia, & Natalie Rousseau, among others. Sarah is a E-RYT certified yogahour® teacher and holds deep gratitude for the blessings in her life, including her supportive husband, 3 wonderful children, & this beautifully created world. Asana, practice, learning, teaching; yoga is never “finished.”
