The Digital Coordinator helps grow, nurture, and evolve our online community with the same attention and heart we offer in the studio. This role blends creativity, strategy, and relationship-building while reflecting our core values of openness, leadership, support, and evolution.
Our online ecosystem includes social media, our website, mobile app, and newsletter. This role is both creative and relational, balancing strategy with human connection.
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Online Community Care
- Plan and schedule content using Later
- Create, launch, and monitor events on our website, Eventbrite, and Facebook
- Design graphics (Canva) and source/edit short-form video content
- Write thoughtful, clear, and inviting copy aligned with our voice
- Respond to DMs, Google reviews, and Facebook messages with warmth, generosity, and professionalism
- Coordinate and support any social media volunteers
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines with creativity and consistency
- Build and maintain:
- An evergreen content bank
- A video content bank
- An evergreen content bank
- Research trending videos, audio, and cultural moments to keep our content relevant
- Track and analyze industry trends to support meaningful and sustainable marketing strategies
- Manage sponsored ads in alignment with our values
Website & Mobile App
- Collaborate with the team to update the website and mobile app as needed, keeping information clear, accessible, and user-friendly
Mariana Tek (Email & Text Communication)
- Lead automated email and text campaigns
- Spearhead the monthly Lab Newsletter in collaboration with our Creative Director.
- Develop strategies to grow our mailing list and encourage clients to update communication preferences
In-Studio Visuals
- Create signage for facility updates and retail offerings
- Design in-studio posters for workshops, events, and pop-ups
Community Outreach
- Support and spotlight local businesses through collaborations and promotions
- Engage with community members and their businesses to foster real relationships
- Act as the point person for facilitating donations and trades
Part-Time Studio Support (Integrated Role)
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client care

Special Projects
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to roll out revenue-generating initiatives
- Support additional creative or operational projects as needed

Compensation & Perks
- $23/hour, 20 hours per week
- 6–8 hours in studio (Lab Victoria — 1088B Fort St)
- 12–14 hours remote
- + 4% vacation pay
