Exploring the 8 limbs of yoga – A path to deepening your yoga practice
Yoga is meant to be a living practice, not just a series of physical postures that are often only done on our yogs mats. Through an exploration of the 8 limbs of yoga, as defined by Patangali in the Yoga Sutras, we gain a deeper understanding and connection to these integral layers of yoga. Integrating these traditional aspects of yoga philosophy can help you find a more meaningful yoga practice that applies both on and off your mat.
This 2 hour class will include a brief overview of the main yoga sutras and the eight limbs of yoga. A vinyasa flow practice will follow with a focus on a specific yoga sutra concerning postures, while integrating and connecting with all eight limbs of yoga.
Feel free to bring a journal and dress for an active practice~
