Active Recovery: Gentle Pilates for Back Pain + Core Strength

This four-week Pilates workshop is designed to support individuals recovering from injury or with chronic back pain who are ready to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies. Through mindful movement, clear anatomical guidance, hands-on support, and a gentle, progressive series using props, you’ll develop a deeper connection to your core, improve spinal and pelvic stability, and build functional strength from the ground up. Each session builds on the last, offering a steady and thoughtful approach to regaining trust in your movement. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.Cost: $140 + GST for the full series or $35 per drop-in class.

Week 1: Reconnect & Realign
Theme: Breath, Awareness, and Core Connection
Focus: Diaphragmatic breathing, pelvic floor activation, spinal and pelvic alignment
Week 2: Core Activation & Control
Theme: Stability Through the Center
Focus: Deep core engagement, lumbopelvic stability, low-load strength building
Week 3: Glute Strength & Hip Mobility
Theme: Power Through the Posterior Chain
Focus: Glute activation, lateral hip stability, hip mobility
Week 4: Integration & Functional Flow
Theme: Confident, Coordinated Movement
Focus: Full-body integration, functional movement patterns, balance and transitions
